​Optical properties​

High transmittance and adjustable haze, UV coating weather resistance>10 years

Glass has high transmittance but is fragile; PMMA has a transmittance>92% but poor weather resistance; PVC has low transmittance.

​Mechanical properties​

Excellent impact resistance, 200-300 times that of glass and 10-20 times that of PMMA, suitable for high-security demand scenarios

Glass is brittle; PMMA has average impact resistance; PVC has low rigidity.

​Temperature resistance​

Continuous use temperature -40℃ to 120℃, heat deformation temperature 125-140℃, better than PMMA and PVC

 Glass needs to be cut and drilled; PMMA processing temperature is sensitive; PVC needs to add plasticizers.

​Cost and environmental protection​

 Moderate overall cost, recyclable, UV coating is environmentally friendly and non-toxic

 High glass recycling cost; PMMA recycling is difficult; PVC contains chlorine.
